WILDFIRE MITIGATION & DEFENSIBLE SPACE

We are trained to evaluate your property for fire hazards, develop a defensible space plan, and provide the expertise to implement the plan.  We will identify potential ignition sources closest to your home and up to 200 feet from your home (home ignition zone). Work may include removing or reducing vegetation and man made materials to reduce the spread of fire. Using defensible space principles, this plan and implementation may even reduce your home insurance.

For landowners completing Colorado Income Tax returns, individuals, estates and trusts may claim a subtraction on their Colorado Income Tax return for certain costs incurred in performing wildfire mitigation measures on their property in a wildland-urban interface area within Colorado. In addition, we are certified burners and will obtain the appropriate permits, and conduct burns under safe and appropriate conditions for good smoke dispersal.
